‘Sale of govt jobs’ won’t be allowed, says Balochistan CM Bugti

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has warned that no government job in the province will be allowed to be sold, saying that no minister or secretary would be spared if credible evidence of such a practice emerges. Chairing a meeting of the secretaries’ committee on Thursday, CM Bugti ordered an inquiry into complaints of irregularities in recruitment within the forest department. He said anyone found guilty after an impartial investigation would face strict legal action, stressing that the government would not compromise on the employment rights of Balochistan’s youth.

The meeting also reviewed provincial departments’ performance and progress under the Annual Development Programme and recruitment procedures. Orders immediate implementation of approved policy for merit-based recruitment through AI Provincial ministers Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi and Mir Shoaib Nosherwani, Chief Secretary Shakil Qadir Khan and other officials attended the meeting.
