Govt raises petrol price by Rs2.84, HSD by Rs2.28 per litre

The government on Thursday raised the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs2. 84/litre and Rs2. 28/litre, respectively. Following the revision, petrol will retail at Rs349 per litre while HSD will cost Rs374. 31 per litre.
