Konsumprisindeksen (KPI) økte med 3,3 prosent fra august i fjor til august i år. Det viser ferske tall fra SSB. Prisene på matvarer og alkoholfri drikke gikk ned 1,4 prosent fra juli til august i år.
Likevel har matvareprisene totalt økt 1,6 prosent fra august i fjor til august i år. – Vi har vært vant til å se mye høyere vekst på matpriser de siste årene enn det, sier Espen Kristiansen, seksjonssjef i SSB.
