For over a year now, two cross-border public transport routes have been operating between Latvia and Estonia.
One of them connects the twin towns of Valka and Valga, whilst the other runs between Ikla, Ainaži and Salacgrīva, also providing a connection to Pärnu. These routes are funded by a pilot project, but this funding is due to run out soon. The question is therefore whether these routes can be maintained next…
