ECP promotes four officers to BS-20, transfers 54 across country amid reshuffle

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced a major administrative reshuffle, promoting four BS-19 officers to BS-20 and transferring 54 BS-17 officials across the country with immediate effect. The orders, issued with the approval of the Chief Election Commissioner, also include key postings at the provincial and secretariat levels. According to a notification, four officers have been promoted from BS-19 to BS-20 on a regular basis and placed on one-year probation. The promoted officers include Fazal Hakeem and Abdul Lag. Hakeem, the Regional Election Commissioner in Peshawar, has been posted as Additional Director General (Elections-II) at the ECP Secretariat in Islamabad.

Lag, Director (Elections) at ECP Balochistan, will serve as Joint Provincial Election Commissioner (Elections) in Balochistan. Khurshid Alam, Director to the CEC, has been posted as ADG to the CEC. The ECP has also upgraded and redesignated his previous BS-19 post. Nazar Abbas, ADG (Electoral Rolls) OPS, has been posted as ADG (Electoral Rolls) at the ECP Secretariat and promoted to BS-20.
