Bodies of 2 FC personnel who went missing in Bannu recovered

BANNU: The bodies of two Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel who went missing a day earlier were recovered from the Kamali graveyard in Palosi, Rescue 1122 and local sources said on Monday. The deceased personnel were identified as Havaldar Ishaq and Sepoy Umar Hayat. Both belonged to Platoon No 59.

According to sources, the personnel were allegedly abducted by unidentified armed men from Saifan Kozi Khel in the Karam Garhi area within the jurisdiction of Cantt police station on Sunday evening. Following the incident, security was tightened in the area, while a search operation for the unidentified assailants was launched. Further investigation was under way, sources said.
