The abductors, who have subjected Bismark to physical torture, initially demanded a GH¢45,000 ransom under a strict 24-hour ultimatum. To coerce the family, the captors sent graphic WhatsApp audio and video recordings directly from Bismark’s phone, a tactic apparently chosen to conceal their digital footprint. ​The disturbing media shows Bismark stripped naked, bound around his hands, legs, and neck with heavy ropes, and repeatedly beaten while being forced to wallow in water poured over the floor.
