Army Officer Ebrima Ceesay arrested for protesting Senegalese troops deployment in Gambia

Mr Ceesay is currently detained at Yundum Barracks. A source said Mr Ceesay was recorded by an SIS officer who sent the recording to his superiors at SIS headquarters in Banjul.

DG SOWE briefed the President about the matter. Barrow told him to give an order to CDS Gomez to arrest and detain him. He said Mr Ceesay is likely going to be dismissed from the army by next week.
