ABFA names 26-member squad for Nations League campaign

By Neto Baptiste The Antigua and Barbuda Football Association (ABFA) has named a 26-member squad as the country finalises preparations for its 2026/27 Concacaf Nations League campaign, with a blend of overseas-based players and talent from the domestic game making up the selection. The Benna Boys, who will compete in League C, Group B, include four players from the national under-20 squad, while 16 of the 26 players are aged 23 or younger. Among the goalkeepers are England-based Shahoi Dorsett of FCV International Academy, Canada-based Taj Moore of Brock University and Green City FC’s Zaieem Scott.

The defensive unit includes West Virginia Wesleyan College player Roneba Cordice, Birmingham Legion FC’s Amir Daley, and Grenades FC pair Leroy Graham and Quinton Griffith. Also selected are Tyrik Hughes of Aston Villa, FCV International Academy’s Kylano Isaac and Old Road RC’s Blaivon James. The midfield has a strong overseas presence, with Dajari Barthley (U20) and TJ Bramble of FC Aston Villa and Tamworth FC respectively, along with Vaughn Jackson Jr (U20) of Brooke House College, Daryl Massicott of Jamaica’s Cavaliers FC, Dion Pereira of Crawley Town and Sean Tomlinson of FCV International Academy. Domestic-based midfielders Kwame Kirby of Villa Lions, Shalon Knight of Swetes FC and Jahzino O’Garro of Grenades FC complete the midfield selections.
